(Please pardon any typos etc. this Team and details will modify as teams responsibilities etc are incorporated)
Team Gymkhana,
Even after all these years announcing a team where not everyone is playing does not get easy, especially when one have such great guys on the roster. All of you have given me a blank slate to have you sit out any match and that does not make it easy either. I will have a few more grey hair this year just getting the team right. One thing I try to do is, be fair to folks that are fair to the club and also represent the spirit of Gymkhana. That is also usually juxtaposed with a healthy dose of pragmatism.
F team has had two great years and now we are looking to up everything a notch, get the club back to its cultural moorings. This will require all of us to set a good example.

Welcome to another BGSC-F season. Below is the team for this weekend’s match along with team and individual responsibilities. We are the senior most team in the club in many respects. The Gymkhana “spirit” has eroded some, with the launch of F2 this year we are firmly moving in that direction as a club. This will require some additional effort by all of us, but we will see results. We are already seeing lots of positives.

Cinco De Mayo 5/5/2018, will feature Mexican theme for the club in terms of food, beverages, music and perhaps all of us can learn a new sentence or two. Encourage families, friends and coworkers to join. We will chat a lot about cricket, but something like this will be fun for all involved. This will be a mini family day, as any match should be.
Every teammate is encouraged to bring one homemade Mexican food item, whatever that might be. Enough for about 10-20 people. We are unsure how well we can play, let’s all ensure we all eat well. As you inform me what you will be bringing I’ll update the same.
Food will be served “Curry Cup”/Family day/ “F-Team” style. Beenu/Shalini/Sonal/AMY and Bikram will create the theme for the 3rd inning.

Note to self Match personnel objectives Vs BGSC-C:
- Team must take the field at 11.55 pm if fielding.
- Parak must have pads on by 11:50 am if wicketkeeping. First three batsman must be padded by 11.55 am.
- Team fitness. Talk in team meeting.
- Field setting: Field must be set by the time bowler reaches top of mark. We are historically taking too long setting fields and changing too often. A sense of urgency will be created to ensure this becomes a habit as we move along the season.
- Extras under 15 for match.
